Introduction of Janaki Medical College, Janakpur

The medical school Janaki Medical College and Teaching Hospital is in the Dhanusha district, close to Janakpur Dham. There are two hospitals run by the college: a smaller hospital in Ramdaiya and a larger hospital in Bramhapuri, Janakpur, Nepal. In collaboration with Tribhuvan University Institute of Medicine and governed by Nepal Medical Council, it provides healthcare education. It is run by the registered Nepalese company act Ram Janaki Health Foundation. The school was laid out in 2003 with a yearly admission of 80 students every year to a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program. The college has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery program as well as courses in nursing for a reasonable price. Janaki Medical College received a postgraduate program in the departments of surgery and emergency medicine in 2020.

Outline of Janaki Medical College

Janaki Medical College was laid out with promotion with the proverb of creating capable experts in overall medication and nursing to assist with giving better medical care administrations and well-being training at a seriously lower cost to local people and encompassing networks, and all around the country. It is in the Janakpurdham of Ramadiya Bhawadi in the Dhanusa district of Nepal. JMC is partnered with Tribhuvan College and Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT). Nepal Medical Council and Nepal Nursing Council have granted their approval.

 
JMC has already opened two hospitals: one in Ramdaiya with 160 beds for academic purposes and another in the city center with 365 beds. The reason for more than 16 Bigahas in Ramdaiya comprises scholarly and inn structures, emergency clinic offices, and regulatory blocks. Activities for teaching and learning take place on the Ramdaiya campus, and the college's city hospital provides students with a bedside learning facility and internships.


The Janaki Medical College's academic and healthcare facilities have been regularly inspected by the Institute of Medicine (IOM), Tribhuvan University, Nepal Medical Council (NMC), and the Ministry of Education (MoE). The management of the college has incorporated the suggestions and recommendations that were made during the inspection to improve its facilities by overcoming obstacles to improve academic and hospital services.
